Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis is an uncommon form of pyelonephritis that is usually seen in
middle-aged women and is much rarer in children. We report a case of focal xanthogranulomatous
pyelonephritis in a 3-month-old boy, which misdiagnosed as Wilms’ tumor and successfully treated
with total nephrectomy and long-term antibiotic therapy.
